About IARPO

The International Association of Recognized Police Officers (IARPO) is a global organization that brings together Recognized Police Officers from all corners of the world. Established and recognized by the Swiss Government, IARPO is a non-governmental, non-profit, and non-discriminatory entity that has been created to support professional development, mentoring, training, networking, and recognition for police officers and civilian support staff in the law enforcement sector.

IARPO is committed to supporting the advancement of security and safety associations and companies across the globe. By creating a network of Recognized Police Officers, IARPO aims to establish a global community that is dedicated to improving public safety and security, both locally and globally.

Professional development is a key objective of IARPO. We recognize that the law enforcement sector is constantly evolving, and we are dedicated to supporting the development of police officers and civilian support staff in order to ensure that they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to meet the demands of their roles. Our training programs are designed to help police officers develop the skills and knowledge they need to carry out their duties effectively and safely.

In addition to training, we also offer mentoring programs for police officers and civilian support staff. These programs are designed to provide guidance and support to individuals who are new to the law enforcement sector or who are seeking to develop their careers. By connecting experienced police officers with those who are just starting out, we aim to foster a supportive community that is committed to sharing knowledge and expertise.

Networking is another important component of our organization. By bringing together Recognized Police Officers from all over the world, we aim to create a global community that is dedicated to improving public safety and security. Our networking events provide an opportunity for police officers and civilian support staff to share ideas and experiences, and to develop relationships with colleagues from different parts of the world.

Recognition is also a key objective of IARPO. We believe that it is important to recognize the achievements of police officers and civilian support staff and to celebrate the work that they do to keep communities safe. We offer a range of awards and recognition programs to honour the achievements of our members, and to highlight the important work that they do.

To become accredited by IARPO, Recognized Police Officers must meet specific requirements that are outlined in our Statutes. These requirements are designed to ensure that all members of our organization are committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. We believe that by maintaining high standards for our members, we can help to promote public trust and confidence in the law enforcement sector.

In addition to supporting individual police officers and civilian support staff, IARPO is also committed to supporting the advancement of security and safety associations and companies across the globe. We believe that by working together with other organizations, we can create a more effective and efficient system for maintaining public safety and security.

In conclusion, the International Association of Recognized Police Officers (IARPO) is a global organization that is dedicated to supporting the development, advancement, and recognition of police officers and civilian support staff in the law enforcement sector. By creating a global community of Recognized Police Officers, we aim to improve public safety and security, both locally and globally. Our commitment to high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct ensures that our members are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to uphold the trust and confidence of the communities they serve.
